Children
All children and young people aged 0 to 21 (if born before 31 December 2003, only until 17), who are registered as residents in Denmark, are entitled to free dental care. For more information see Dental care in Viborg Municipality or contact Børnetandplejen on +45 87 87 26 75.
Adults
You pay for dental care from the age of 22 (18 if you are born before 31 December 2003) and it is your own responsibility to find a private dentist that is recognised by the Danish regions.

Emergency
If you need a dentist outside normal business hours, you need to go to Aarhus or Holstebro.
