Viborg Municipality is in a rather unique situation as international daycare and education are available to children and young people with an international background.
This joint international offer is the result of a great co-operation between Viborg Municipality’s kindergarten Bulderby, Viborg International School, Skals Efterskole and Viborg Katedralskole. Viborg International School, Skals Efterskole and Viborg Katedralskole are internationally certified which makes it easy for the children to move from or to an international school in another country as the curriculum and exams will be the same.
Primary and lower secondary school
Viborg International School is a Cambridge International Examination day-school located at Viborg private Realskole.
Skals Efterskole is a Danish boarding school that offers the IGCSE programme (year 10 and 11).

Upper secondary school
Viborg Katedralskole offers the two-year IB Diploma Programme (IB-DP) as well as a one-year PreIB for students who do not have the required 11 years of schooling.
