Upon arrival in Denmark, international citizens aged 18 and above are entitled to five years of free Danish education.

In order to ensure that you do not lose any time of the right to free Danish language training, it is very important that you contact Viborg Language School (Sprogcenter Viborg) shortly after you have arrived. Topics covered as part of the language course include Danish society, workplace culture, daily life and other aspects of living in Denmark.

While the language course itself is free, a 2,000 DKK deposit is required upon enrolment. Employers may choose to pay the deposit on behalf of their employees.

The course consists of six sequential modules that must be completed in order to move onto the next module. Participants are required to finish each module within a specified time frame or pay a new deposit. Upon successful completion of a module, the deposit can be refunded.

To enrol, send an e-mail to Viborg Language School on sprogcenterviborg@viborg.dk.

When you have paid the deposit, you will be invited to a meeting with a study counsellor. At this meeting, you will receive all the necessary information about language course programme and guidance.

See Viborg Language School for more information.
